Composition and structure of explosion-proof refrigerated dryer?

The explosion-proof refrigerated dryer is mainly composed of the following parts and has corresponding structural characteristics:

Refrigeration system:

Refrigeration compressor: It is the core component of the refrigeration system, providing power for the circulation of refrigerant. Usually, a closed reciprocating compressor is used to compress low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas into high-temperature and high-pressure gas, which is then discharged through an exhaust pipe. Its performance and quality directly affect the refrigeration effect and operational stability of the refrigerated dryer.

Condenser: Its function is to cool the high-pressure, superheated refrigerant vapor discharged from the refrigeration compressor into liquid refrigerant. Heat is carried away by the coolant (cooling water for water-cooled dryers and cooling air for air-cooled dryers), allowing the refrigeration process to continue continuously. The structure of the condenser is generally a tube heat exchanger, which has good heat dissipation performance to ensure that the refrigerant can be fully cooled.

Evaporator: It is the main heat exchange component of a refrigerated dryer. Compressed air is forcibly cooled in the evaporator, where most of the water vapor condenses into liquid water and is discharged outside the machine, thereby drying the compressed air. Low pressure refrigerant liquid undergoes a phase change in the evaporator to become low-pressure refrigerant vapor, which absorbs surrounding heat during the phase change process, thereby reducing the temperature of compressed air.

Thermal expansion valve (or capillary tube): It belongs to the throttling mechanism of the refrigeration system and plays a role in regulating the flow of refrigerant. It changes the refrigerant from a high temperature and high pressure liquid state to a low temperature and low pressure liquid state, and enters the evaporator to cool the compressed air.

Liquid storage container and dry filter: The liquid storage container is used to store liquid refrigerant, ensuring that the refrigerant is in a pure liquid state at the inlet of the expansion valve; Dry filters are used to filter impurities and moisture in the refrigerant, preventing them from entering components such as evaporators and compressors, and affecting the normal operation of the refrigerated dryer.

Air system:

Air to air heat exchanger (precooler): It can pre cool the incoming compressed air, reduce its temperature, remove some moisture, and improve the drying efficiency of the refrigerated dryer. At the same time, it can also recover some of the cooling capacity, which plays a role in energy conservation.

Gas liquid separator: used to separate liquid water, oil, and some impurities formed after cooling in compressed air, so that the dried compressed air can be smoothly output, avoiding liquid substances from flowing out with the air and affecting the normal operation of subsequent equipment.

Control system:

Explosion proof electrical control box: As the refrigerated dryer is used in places with explosion hazards, the electrical control box needs to have explosion-proof performance to prevent electrical sparks generated by electrical components from causing explosions. The control box contains various electrical components such as control circuits, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, etc., which are used to control the start stop, operation parameter adjustment, and protection functions of the refrigerated dryer.

Sensors and controllers: such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc., used to monitor the operating parameters of the refrigerated dryer in real time, such as the inlet and outlet temperature and pressure of compressed air, the temperature and pressure of refrigerant, etc., and transmit these signals to the controller. The controller automatically adjusts the refrigeration system and air system based on preset parameter values to ensure the stable operation of the refrigerated dryer.

Other auxiliary components:

Automatic drain: Installed in gas-liquid separators or evaporators, it is used to automatically drain impurities such as liquid water and oil that have been separated, avoiding water accumulation and affecting the performance of the refrigerated dryer.

Fan (air-cooled refrigerated dryer): In air-cooled refrigerated dryers, the fan is used to provide cooling air, accelerate the dissipation of heat in the condenser, and ensure the normal operation of the refrigeration system.

Connecting pipes and valves: used to connect various components of the refrigerated dryer, ensuring the normal circulation of compressed air and refrigerant. Valves are used to control the flow direction, flow rate, etc. of gases and refrigerants.
