How to test the quality of a refrigerated dryer manufacturer?

The quality inspection of refrigerated dryers by manufacturers mainly focuses on the following aspects:

Appearance inspection:

Overall structure: Check for any deformation, damage, scratches, or other issues with the outer shell of the refrigerated dryer. A good casing can protect internal components from damage and also reflect the level of craftsmanship in the production process. If there are serious problems with the casing, it may affect the service life and performance of the refrigerated dryer.

Welding position: Check whether the welding point is firm, flat, and whether there are any missing or virtual welding. Poor welding quality may lead to gas leakage or structural instability, affecting the normal operation of the refrigerated dryer.

Connection parts: including pipeline connections, wire connections, etc., ensure that the connections are tight and there is no looseness or detachment. For example, if the connection of the compressed air pipeline is not secure, it may cause air leakage and affect the drying effect of the refrigerated dryer.

Paint quality: Observe whether the paint surface of the refrigerated dryer is uniform, smooth, and whether there are bubbles, paint peeling, and other phenomena. A good paint surface can prevent rust and corrosion of the refrigerated dryer, extending its service life.

Performance testing:

Refrigeration system testing:

Pressure test: Check if the pressure of the refrigerant is normal. During the operation of the refrigerated dryer, use professional pressure testing instruments to measure the high and low pressure of the refrigerant. Generally speaking, high voltage should be within a certain range, and low voltage should also remain stable. If the pressure is abnormal, it may be due to refrigerant leakage, compressor failure, or problems with components such as expansion valves.

Temperature test: Test whether the refrigeration temperature of the refrigerated dryer can meet the design requirements. After running the refrigerated dryer for a period of time, measure the temperature of components such as the evaporator and condenser to ensure that the temperature meets the specified range. For example, if the temperature of the evaporator is too low or too high, it will affect the drying effect of the refrigerated dryer.

Refrigerant leakage detection: Use leak detectors or soap water methods to check for refrigerant leaks in the refrigeration system. If any leakage is found, it needs to be repaired in a timely manner, otherwise it will affect the refrigeration performance of the refrigerated dryer.

Drying effect test:

Moisture content detection: Use a moisture content tester to measure the moisture content of compressed air processed by a refrigerated dryer. The moisture content should comply with relevant standards and requirements. If the moisture content is too high, it indicates that the drying effect of the refrigerated dryer is poor, which may be due to a decrease in the performance of components such as evaporators and condensers, or problems with the drainage system.

Dew point detection: The dew point temperature of compressed air is measured by a dew point meter. The lower the dew point temperature, the better the drying effect. Generally speaking, the dew point temperature of compressed air processed by a refrigerated dryer should reach a certain standard to meet the needs of different users.

Air flow and pressure testing:

Flow testing: Use a flow meter to measure the air flow of the refrigerated dryer to ensure that it meets the needs of the user. If the flow is insufficient, it may be caused by filter blockage, excessive pipeline resistance, or fan failure.

Pressure test: Check if the inlet and outlet pressures of the refrigerated dryer are normal. Excessive pressure loss may be caused by pipeline blockage, excessive filter resistance, or damage to internal components of the refrigerated dryer.

Electrical system inspection:

Power inspection: Check whether the power supply of the refrigerated dryer is normal, and whether the voltage and frequency meet the requirements. If the power supply is unstable, it may cause the refrigerated dryer to malfunction or damage electrical components.

Wire connection: Check whether the wire connection is firm, whether there is looseness, short circuit or other phenomena. Poor wire connections may cause electrical faults and even lead to safety accidents such as fires.

Controller function test: Test whether the controller of the refrigerated dryer can work normally, including temperature control, pressure control, start stop control and other functions. The controller is one of the core components of the refrigerated dryer, and its performance directly affects the operational stability and reliability of the dryer.

Drainage system inspection:

Smooth drainage: Check if the drainage pipes are unobstructed and if there are any blockages. During the operation of the refrigerated dryer, a large amount of condensed water will be generated, which needs to be discharged in a timely manner. If the drainage is not smooth, it may cause water accumulation inside the refrigerated dryer, affecting the drying effect.

Drainage valve performance: Test whether the opening and closing of the drainage valve are flexible and whether the sealing performance is good. If the drainage valve malfunctions, it may cause the condensate to be unable to be discharged in a timely manner or leak.

Running noise detection: When the refrigerated dryer is running, listen to whether its running noise is normal. If the noise is too loud, it may be due to loose installation of components such as compressors and fans, or wear and damage of components. Excessive noise not only affects the working environment, but may also be a signal of malfunction in the refrigerated dryer.

Continuous operation test: Let the refrigerated dryer run continuously for a period of time to observe its stability and reliability. During continuous operation, check whether the refrigerated dryer has any faults, shutdowns, or other abnormal situations, and monitor whether its various performance indicators remain stable.
