Variable frequency refrigerated dryer is a high-energy industrial refrigerated drying equipment, whose working principle mainly includes several processes such as compression, condensation, expansion, evaporation, and re compression. The following will introduce these processes one by one to better understand the working principle of the variable frequency refrigerated dryer.
At first, it was a compression process. The variable frequency refrigerated dryer compresses air to a higher pressure through a compressor. The compressor adopts variable frequency technology, which can adjust the speed and pressure as needed. During the compression process, due to the compression of the gas, its volume decreases, resulting in an increase in pressure. At the same time, the compression process can also cause the gas to heat up, increasing the internal energy of the gas.
The next step is the condensation process. The high-pressure and high-temperature gas generated after the compression process enters the condenser. In the condenser, the coolant (usually refrigerants such as R134a or R404a) cools and converts high-temperature gases into high-pressure liquids through heat exchange. During the condensation process, the condenser dissipates the heat inside the gas, resulting in a decrease in gas temperature.
Then there is the expansion process. Under the action of the expansion valve, high-pressure liquid enters the evaporator, and due to the decrease in pressure, the temperature of the liquid begins to decrease. The refrigerant inside the evaporator exchanges heat with the air outside the evaporator, transforming the refrigerant from a liquid state to a gaseous state. During the evaporation process, the liquid absorbs heat from the outside of the evaporator, resulting in a decrease in the temperature of the air outside the evaporator.
Next is the evaporation process. Inside the evaporator, the refrigerant transforms from a liquid state to a gas state and continues to evaporate, absorbing more heat. Meanwhile, due to the significant decrease in temperature of the refrigerant during the evaporation process, the surrounding moisture is condensed and condensed into ice crystals. This process is called cold drying.
In addition, there is the process of recompression. The low-temperature and low-pressure gas generated in the evaporator is reintroduced into the compressor for further compression. Through further compression, the pressure and temperature of the gas rise again, providing necessary conditions for the next round of condensation, expansion, and evaporation processes.
The working principle of a variable frequency refrigerated dryer can be summarized as follows: compression condensation expansion evaporation recompression. By repeatedly repeating these steps, the variable frequency air dryer can achieve a continuous and high-energy air drying process.
In short, the variable frequency refrigerated dryer uses several processes such as compression, condensation, expansion, evaporation, and re compression to dry the moisture in the air by utilizing the physical properties of the refrigerant. This working principle makes variable frequency refrigerated dryers widely used in the industrial field, providing a reliable solution for air treatment.
